About Rebecca
Meet Rebecca - Founder & Owner
Lyfetree Therapy is led by Rebecca Pike, a qualified trauma-informed psychotherapist based in Frankston, Victoria. This page shares my professional background, lived experience, and the compassionate approach that guides my work with clients seeking emotional recovery and personal growth.
My journey into psychology began as a personal search for understanding. I wanted to make sense of my own story, to find recovery, and to learn how to guide others toward the same.
Over the past nine years, I have worked across the mental health sector and opened my private practice, Lyfetree Therapy, in early 2022. My work now focuses on trauma-informed therapy, supporting adults experiencing anxiety, depression, complex trauma, personality patterns, and the lingering effects of emotional pain.
My approach is shaped by both professional training and lived experience. I understand what it’s like to move through trauma and the gradual process of finding inner safety and self-connection. That understanding informs everything I do in the therapy space.
I am an IFS-informed therapist, certified in Resource Therapy, an advanced EMDR practitioner, and a Level 2 Deep Brain Reorienting therapist. I am also certified in Grief and Loss Therapy and integrate additional trauma-informed approaches where they best support each person.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Psychology, and a Master of Counselling. I am a Level 4 member of the Australian Counselling Association.
Who We Help
Lyfetree Therapy supports adults who are ready to understand themselves more deeply and move beyond old patterns that keep them feeling stuck. Many of the people I work with have experienced difficult or overwhelming experiences in childhood or adult life that continue to affect how they think, feel, and relate to others.
You may be carrying feelings of anxiety, self-doubt, or emotional exhaustion, or find yourself caught in patterns of people-pleasing, over-functioning, or self-criticism. You might sense that these responses once helped you cope but are now holding you back from living with ease and authenticity.
My approach is particularly supportive for those recovering from complex or relational trauma, those who grew up feeling unseen or unimportant, and anyone wanting to reconnect with their sense of worth, peace, and emotional safety.
Lyfetree Therapy offers a gentle, trauma-informed environment where you can explore your inner world at your own pace and begin to experience genuine change from within.
Mission
Lyfetree Therapy is guided by a heart-centred philosophy built on compassion, integrity, and safety. My intention is to provide gentle, holistic support that empowers individuals to move through life’s challenges, discover their resilience, and cultivate lasting wellbeing.
I believe therapy should feel safe, grounding, and human. Each session is held with care and attunement, allowing space for genuine connection and growth at your own pace. My hope is that, through this process, you begin to feel more present, confident, and connected to your true self.
Every person carries a story that deserves to be met with kindness and respect. At Lyfetree Therapy, I offer a calm and supportive environment where recovery can unfold naturally, one moment at a time.
